Ground Direction Finding (DF)

Direction Finding (D/F) refers to the establishment of the direction from which a received radio signal was transmitted.

In this chapter, you will find information about their use and the path of VHF signals.

You will find an accurate explanation of “Q” Codes (e.g. QDM/QDR etc.). How “Homing” works and the formula to calculate the Range of radio signals, while learning about errors and accuracy of VDF different classes, according to the ICAO Annex 10.
